Whereas I have a raft of good sites to visit in the Peak District, I'm a bit thin on good field trip sites in the Dales (other than can be garnered from "The Limestone and Caves of North West England"). Anyone got any suggestions? Anyone interested in joining a rank amateur geologist (especially real geologists)?

As I (Adam Cooper) am a bit of a liability on real caving trips these days but do enjoy a good wander around looking at rocks, geomorphology and cave entrances, I'm planning to do a bit.
